Orbit एक browser extension है जो tabs, collections और workspaces को व्यवस्थित करने में आपकी मदद करता है। यह page बताता है कि Orbit कौन सा data collect करता है, उसका क्या उपयोग होता है, कौन सी चीज़ कभी आपके device से बाहर नहीं जाती, और आप data deletion कैसे request कर सकते हैं।

Orbit अपने self-hosted infrastructure पर स्वतंत्र रूप से operate होता है — यह किसी बड़ी tech corporation का हिस्सा नहीं है, user data नहीं बेचता, और ads या third-party tracking शामिल नहीं करता।

1. Account बनाते समय आप जो data देते हैं

Google / Apple से sign in — Orbit केवल Google या Apple के जरिए sign in support करता है; कोई अलग password नहीं है। Orbit केवल Google/Apple द्वारा दी गई email, display name और avatar प्राप्त करता है, और आपका Google/Apple account password कभी प्राप्त नहीं करता।

2. Orbit में आप जो content बनाते हैं

Workspaces, collections और वे tabs (URL, title, favicon) जिन्हें आप actively save करते हैं।
Custom background और widget images, यदि आप उन्हें upload करते हैं।
Home page पर आपके personal widgets की content — Quick Notes, Appointments, Timetable, Work Schedule और Menstrual Cycle (start date, cycle length)। यह data केवल आपका है और किसी और को नहीं दिखाया जाता, आपके shared workspaces के members को भी नहीं — यह केवल आपके signed-in devices के बीच sync करने के लिए Orbit के servers पर stored रहता है।
Shared workspaces के भीतर activity log (किसने क्या create/edit/delete किया) — केवल उस workspace के members को visible।
Activity status — जब आप shared workspace में होते हैं, उस workspace के अन्य members देख सकते हैं कि आप online हैं या नहीं (extension का server से open connection है या नहीं, इससे अनुमानित) और उस दिन Orbit पर आपका total active time। Orbit extension के बाहर आपकी activity track नहीं करता।

यह सारा data Orbit के अपने servers पर stored होता है ताकि आपके signed-in devices के बीच sync किया जा सके।

3. Data जो केवल आपके device पर रहता है — server को कभी नहीं भेजा जाता

Home page के कुछ widgets केवल आपके browser (chrome.storage.local) में stored रहते हैं, और Orbit उन्हें देख या access नहीं कर सकता:

Chrome usage time (दिन में Chrome window focused रहने का कुल समय)।
Chrome usage analysis (work/leisure) — Orbit आज की browsing history सीधे आपके device पर पढ़ता है ताकि यह calculate कर सके, लेकिन आपकी browsing history और analysis results कभी Orbit के servers या किसी third party को नहीं भेजे जाते।

4. AI feature (AI Analysis)

जब आप Quick Save feature में actively "AI Analysis" click करते हैं, Orbit उन tabs के titles और URLs भेजता है जिन्हें आप save कर रहे हैं (आपके existing workspaces/collections के names के साथ) एक third-party AI model को, ताकि उन्हें organize करने के सुझाव मिल सकें। यह feature केवल तब चलता है जब आप actively request करते हैं — यह background में या automatically कभी नहीं चलता।

5. Location (Weather widget)

यदि आप अनुमति देते हैं, तो Weather widget आपके browser की location (Geolocation API — आपका browser इसे share करने से पहले हमेशा पूछेगा, यह automatically कभी enabled नहीं होता) का उपयोग coordinates पाने के लिए करता है, फिर current temperature पाने के लिए उन coordinates को सीधे Open-Meteo (third-party weather data provider) को भेजता है। आपकी location Orbit के servers से होकर कभी नहीं गुजरती और वहाँ stored भी नहीं होती। आप location share करने के बजाय city name type करना भी चुन सकते हैं।

6. Extension जिन permissions का अनुरोध करता है

tabs / activeTab — open tabs का title और URL पढ़ता है ताकि आप उन्हें save/organize कर सकें, और collection/workspace में "Open all" feature इस्तेमाल करने पर नए tabs खोलता है।
tabGroups — "Open all" से खुले tabs को collection के name/color से matching named, colored tab group में group करता है।
storage — settings और widget data को browser में locally store करता है।
favicon — आपके saved websites के icons दिखाता है।
identity — Google/Apple sign-in flow support करता है।
alarms — background timers चलाता है (जैसे Chrome usage time track करना)।
history — "Chrome usage analysis" feature के काम करने के लिए आज की browsing history पढ़ता है; section 3 में बताए अनुसार यह पूरी तरह आपके device पर process होती है।

7. Third parties के साथ sharing

Google / Apple — केवल जब आप इन तरीकों से sign in करना चुनते हैं।
LemonSqueezy — Pro plan के लिए payment processing partner। Orbit आपके card details store नहीं करता; LemonSqueezy payment handle करता है और Orbit को केवल plan status (active है या नहीं) report करता है।
AI model provider — tab data केवल तब प्राप्त करता है जब आप actively "AI Analysis" feature इस्तेमाल करते हैं (section 4)।
Open-Meteo — location coordinates केवल तब प्राप्त करता है जब आप Weather widget इस्तेमाल करते हैं (section 5)।

Orbit advertising purposes के लिए आपका data नहीं बेचता, rent पर नहीं देता और share नहीं करता।

8. Login sessions & devices

Settings में "Devices" feature काम कर सके (ताकि आप login sessions देख और revoke कर सकें), इसके लिए Orbit हर session sign in के समय browser/operating system type (User-Agent से) और IP address record करता है।

9. Security

Extension और server के बीच connections हमेशा HTTPS पर चलते हैं। आप Settings → Devices में किसी भी समय login sessions खुद manage और revoke कर सकते हैं।

10. अपना data delete करना

Orbit में अभी app के अंदर self-service account deletion button नहीं है। अपने account के सभी data को delete करवाने के लिए, कृपया section 12 में दिए email के जरिए हमसे संपर्क करें — requests को जितनी जल्दी हो सके process किया जाता है।

11. बच्चे

Orbit 13 वर्ष से कम उम्र के बच्चों के लिए निर्देशित नहीं है और जानबूझकर उनसे data collect नहीं करता।

13. इस policy में बदलाव

Orbit में नए features जुड़ने पर यह policy update हो सकती है। सबसे हाल की update date हमेशा इस page के top पर दिखाई जाती है।
